August 14, 2005: Mile 2400 logged on Rebel. First trip requiring a map. Rode to Bellville, via Hempstead, then took FM 529 back to Houston.

August 13, 2005: Mile 2300 logged on Rebel. Rode to Cleveland, then to Conroe via State Highway 105.

August 12, 2005: Mile 2200 logged on Rebel.

August 9, 2005: Rode both segments of Allen Parkway.

August 8, 2005: Mile 2100 logged on Rebel.

August 7, 2005: Mile 2000 logged on Rebel. Visited Brookwood.

August 6, 2005: Rode to Patton Village. Chased by dogs for the first time.

August 3, 2005: Watched the DVD, Surviving the Mean Streets.

August 2, 2005: Took the Rebel in for its "600" mile inspection.

August 1, 2005: Mile 1800 logged on the Rebel.

July 23, 2005: I logged mile 1000 on the Rebel.

May 21, 2005: Picked up my Honda Rebel Saturday morning.

May 20, 2005: Lots of research on m/c insurance. State Farm is outrageous. Dairyland was too. Progressive had decent rates. I ended up getting a Progressive Policy through Stubbs. It was the cheapest one I could find, for the high rates I wanted.

May 19, 2005: I stopped by Stubbs Cycles on Telephone Road and bought my Honda Rebel 250. I put $550 down.

April 13, 2005: Took the written portion of my motorcycle exam. Passing the MSF Course exempted me from haveing to take the behind the wheels portion. Passed. Got my temporary license.

October 17, 2005: Fourth day of class. Exam time. Passed.

October 16, 2005: Third day of class. First day of riding. We used Buell Blasts.

October 15, 2005: Second day of class in the Harley "rider's Edge" program.

October 14, 2005: First day of class in the Harley "Rider's Edge" program.
