Can my employer prevent me from carrying on the premises of the business even though I have a CHL?
by Donald Ray Burger
Attorney at Law

Yes. Section 411.203 of the Texas Government Code addresses this question. Your CHL does not prevent or limit the right of a public or private employer from prohibiting CHLs from carrying a concealed handgun on the premises of the business.
