I like to garden and it seems that my roses are always providing me with unwanted splinters. Thoughts of splinters lead to thoughts of tweezers. I have tried several brands, but often the tips are too thick to grab the splinter, or the ends are so pointy that I keep missing the splinter. Very frustrating.
I have found the solution. I bought several packages of Tweezerman Slant Tweezers. They have hand-filed tips that are perfect. They seem custom made to get those splinters that are just barely poking up and these tweezers will not let go. The tips are wide enough to make it relatively easy to grab the splinter. They have a nice edge that allows one to slide a tip under the wood. These tweezers are well thought out and several times better than anything else I have tried. They are so good that they are worth the somewhat higher than normal cost.
