Bolner's Fiesta Brand makes an "Extra Fancy Mesquite Flavored Fajita Seasoning" that added an excellent flavoring to many dishes. This seasoning is usually found in the spice section of the grocery store here in Texas. I know it is available in Houston, Laredo and San Antonio. You can also order it on-line at their website. There are several Fiesta Brand seasonings. My favorite is the mesquite flavored one. Be sure and check the jar closely to make sure it says "Mesquite Flavored Fajita Seasoning."
I use this seasoning a lot. The mesquite flavor is subtle, but adds just the right amount of "something different" to many dishes. If you browse around my web site you will notice this seasoning is the magic ingredient in several of my recipes. We use it in our fajita seasoning. We also sprinkle it on vegetables prior to grilling them. A little added to a guacamole recipe add a subtle difference.
