What to Plant in November

First half: cilantro, leeks, bok choy, kohlrabi, parsley, lettuce, onion sets, ornamental kale, paper white narcissus (indoors).
Second half: larkspur seeds, hollyhock seeds, calendula seeds, dephinium seeds.
Thanksgiving: Daffodils, hyacinths.

MISC

It's not too late to get your wildflower seeds planted. They will grow roots all winter and you will increase the odds of a fantastic spring bloom.
November 15: 9 times out of 10, this is the earliest frost date for Houston.
November 23: This is the average first date for frost in Houston.
Mid November is the time to plant winter rye to have a green lawn all winter. And to have to mow that lawn all winter.
