I teach a four-hour course on Beekeeping in Your Backyard at the Leisure Learning campus at the Emerson Unitarian Church, 1900 Bering, Houston, Texas 77057. The class starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. You must be enrolled with Leisure Learning to attend. Class cost is $30, plus $10 for the written materials.

This course is geared for beginners who want a hive or two in their backyards.
If you are have taken (or are going to take) my course on Beekeeping in Your Backyard, you can view my beeyard on June 7th, 2008, between ten and 5:00 pm. My garden will be on tour as part of the Houston Pond Society's Pond Tour, but all class members, past and future, are welcome to come for a tour of the beeyard. Just show up on the 7th of June. There is no charge to see my garden and beeyard if you have taken my bee course. The Pond Society charges $10 if you want to see the other ponds on the tour.
