Join Up and Meet Other Beekeepers
Donald Burger, Attorney at Law

One of the best ways to learn about beekeeping is by joining a local beekeeping group. There you will meet other beekeepers of all experience levels. In addition to the programs, you will have the opportunity to share your questions and stories with other apiarists. Of course, I am partial to the Houston Beekeepers Association, but I recommend you join an organization close to your house so you are more likely to go to the meetings. The main thing is to visit the clubs and see if you like what they have to offer. Below is a listing of the beekeeping clubs in the Houston area. The Texas Beekeepers Association has a listing of clubs statewide.
